WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words where you answer these three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
This Savage Song – JUST started it last night, and it starts off with a girl going out and burning down a church?? SO?? I GUESS LET’S DO THIS BABY GIRL. Plus I’ve actually never read anything from Victoria Schwab before so I’m just happy to be here!
Three Dark Queens – I hit a wall on this one. Maybe it’s the audiobook narrator but I can’t keep any of the names/places straight. I don’t know where we are, what we’re doing, or who we’re doing it with. AND THAT’S A PROBLEM. SO. Maybe I need they physical book? EEK. Is this going to get tossed on the DNF pile?! Is it worth it to push through??!!?
The Cruel Prince – OH LOOK IT’S MY FAVORITE BOOK OF THE YEAR. Yes, okay, it’s only February but I really enjoyed this. Even more so because I got it in an OwlCrate and it’s one of the first physical books I’ve read in a while! It just felt like I was 16 again, reading through the night! You can find my full review HERE!
Everless – I JUST finished this last night. I’d seen it on a few blogs and was intrigued by the idea of blood coins! I enjoyed it but…it didn’t turn out the way I thought it would. Hopefully I’ll have my review for it up in a few days!! I’m getting behind on my REVIEWS! WHOOPS.
Unearthed – Someone said this was like Indiana Jones in space. SAY NO MORE.
Iron Gold and Shades of Magic Series – UGH. Yes I’m leaving these on my list from the last time I did a WWW. I’LL GET TO THEM. I’LL read them okay! I’m good for it, it’s me! It’s your buddy Chloe! I’LL READ THE BOOKS OKAY MAN JUST BE COOL.
I MEANT to read these next but other things got in the way…like OTHER books from Victoria Schwab. Reading Iron Gold and a three book series just seemed like they were gonna take so much EFFORT. Especially since my sister just finished Iron Gold and her reaction was very much like
So…that makes me less inclined to read it.
